Budget Wedding Reception

This package is for budget clients who want good, clean music and professional service and are comfortable with very little planning assistance, communication, and personalization of their wedding. Prices are kept low on The Budget Wedding Reception by limiting the time and money that I invest in your event.

Typically, I spend between 30 and 40 hours on wedding preparation that is beneficial to my performance, but you never actually see. I also spend over $150 on music for each wedding to add all music requests to my library. For the Budget Wedding Reception, I will spend about 10 hours preparing and $20 on music. This is accomplished by standardizing the reception timeline and limiting the most special requests to what is currently in my music library.

6:00 PM Reception area opens
This is when the Cookie Cutter Reception Service begins. Your guests will enter the room and have a little time to mingle and find their seats.
6:30 PM Grand Entrance and First Dance
The Grand Entrance is the introduction of you and your bridal party into the reception area. It is scheduled one half hour after the reception are opens to give your guests time to find their seats and to give you time to finish your wedding photos.

In the Cookie Cutter reception, the conclusion of your Grand Entrance is also the beginning of your first dance. You can choose any song that you want for your first dance.

7:25 PM Toasts, Welcoming the Guests and Bridal Party Dance
Toasts refer to the time when the Best Man and Maid/Matron of Honor toast the now couple. It is scheduled to happen towards the end of dinner.

To conclude the Toasts, the bride and groom will welcome their guests. It only needs to be a few short words, but can be a more formal welcome.

Although the dance floor is opened after the First Dance, the Bridal Party Dance is really the point where the energetic dancing begins. You and your bridal party will have the floor to yourselves for about half of the song, at which time your guests will be invited to join you on the dance floor.

8:15 PM Cake Cutting, Parents Dances and Dollar/Honeymoon/Luck Dance
The first dance set ends with the beginning of the cake cutting. Your photographer will help you with this, but I will be playing background music to go with it.

The Parents Dances include the groom dancing with his mother and the bride dancing with her father. You will be able to select any song from my music library for this tradition.

The Dollar/Honeymoon/Good luck dance is always requested at every event by some of the guests... even when the bride and groom don't want to do it. For that reason, it is included in the Cookie Cutter reception.

9:00 PM Bouquet Toss, Garter Retrieval and Garter Toss
It isn't clear which legend is the real beginning of the Bouquet Toss, Garter Retrieval and Garter Toss, but it is definitely a tradition. You will be able to choose music to go with these traditions from my library.
9:55 PM Closing Song
The Closing Song can be a last dance or a song that you want playing for your formal exit. This song can be any song from my library.
